Sound Cloud Long Uploads Take Forever to Process

   Hi all,

   I've recently created a soundcloud account for my band, and so that I tin can upload songs (obviously) to share with prospective venues for gigs.

   I'm having an upshot where the upload time is quite slow and, more than importantly, the song will upload get anywhere from two%-98% uploaded and then reset itself and starting time once more from 0%.

   Is this mutual with soundcloud? Exercise the residue of y'all experience this?

   Thanks for the info.

   My connection has been boring lately. The phone visitor has tried to ready it simply, no luck.

   One thing I did do was switch from Firefox to I.E. when uploading . Good new is that all uploads
   to 100%, albeit a bit slowly. Bad news is when I press "save", I get the error bulletin " asset_data parameter, or uid and original_filename parameters."
   I accept no idea what that means or how to set information technology. Searching their aid pages came up with nothing specific.

    Their listing of uniform file types is pretty long merely only in example?

18. Endeavor using the "legacy" interface. It seems to work more reliably than the new 1. Click on the configuration icon in the upper right manus corner and then click on "Switch back to Classic."

    I'm using .wav files, definitely on their list. I have been able to upload some files, merely others get error messages.

    Also, I utilize the old interface, and not the new.

    Strange.

26. 1 thing that really ticks me off about Soundcloud is the lack of an RSS feed. I uploaded a spoken-word web log and emailed three times for approval to receive an RSS feed as this is the process for getting one. They never bothered to respond to whatsoever of the mails. From my perspective, that sucks in the customer service department and I'll exist danged if I'm going to pay this company money to expand my use of their platform. With that and the problems in uploading files, a big Thumbs Downward to Soundcloud.

    Hmmmm.

    I tried simultaneously uploading 4 songs at the same time. Clicked on upload, went to piece of work.
    Came back, three uploaded just with problems and could not exist saved.
    1 uploaded just fine.

    The one that uploaded fine had issues before in the day when I tried to upload it.

    seems to be hit or miss for me.

    I concluded up converting my .wav vile to mp3 files and they uploaded within ane infinitesimal per song and saved no problem.

55. I cant use soundcloud. I made an account and earlier i even uploaded a song, I couldn't log in anymore considering information technology says incorrect password which is impossible since I e'er utilise the same i everywhere online and I tried any possible variation of information technology anyway (like when they require a capital or a number) and i tried to have them reset and ship me new passwords and it NEVER worked. I contacted customer service similar 5 times and that's all they tried and I never got a password reset at Whatsoever email address I told them to send them to. I hateful they said they did it merely I simply never got through anywhere (and no its not in spam). And then I asked to delete my account so i could make another and they just insisted on trying the password ******** again. So I said shag 'em. I mean, I want to use the same band name and address so unless they delete my business relationship I can't. Based on my horrible experience with them I don't fifty-fifty want a soundcloud anymore. What is and then shaging difficult virtually deleting my account?

59. The practiced folks at Soundcloud are shutting downward "Archetype" mode. If this fixes the new mode, fine. Otherwise, ii thumbs downwardly for blocking us from the more reliable interface. Here is the email that came in last night:
