1. Remove your account from the Outlook app and become to the mobile Settings.

ii. Select Account > Add Business relationship > Outlook > enter your business relationship > Continue and and then enter the password.

I didn't do pace 1 as I accept been unable to create the business relationship in outlook since I reinstalled the app.

Btw, since I posted the original and reading your response, I have done a mill reset of my mobile phone, but am still getting the same effect.

When I do step two, and add together the account, I put in my password. It then sends me a text message with a "code for Microsoft Verification" to enter. I enter the code and it says "an error has occurred."

I shall contact support ?

I sent a bulletin to the in-app back up team on Sat 8th who responded directly away. But after I replied I've heard nothing at all (since Saturday afternoon). I understand that it's not immediate, merely they do say they'll get back within 24 hours. How to I take this forward? It's getting very hard to work without emails!!

Greetings. To add an electronic mail account in Outlook app in mobile, please follow the post-obit steps:

ane. When you enter your e-mail address and tab Continue.

2. In the enter the countersign folio, tab the Back button of your telephone.

iii. In the "Cull business relationship type" folio, select Exchange for your work 365 business relationship and select IMAP for the Hotmail account.

4. Then in the next page, tab Advanced Settings, and so manually enter the related data to run into if information technology helps.

I am having the same issue.  I accept done everything, uninstalled, reinstalled, reset the phone, tried to install on some other phone, tried to install via accounts rather than straight in the app.

All fail with a basic message "an error occurred", Information technology says everything is fine on their end and back up in the app sent a generic answer that had nothing to practice with my questions.

Nope. Not a problem with the App.

Outlook.live.com and whatsoever other means of getting my hotmail accounts up on browser on my Samsung tablet. Like I said only way I can access it without getting error message is thru incognito browser.
